"Greater love has no one than this, that he lay down his life for his friends" -John 15:13
God's amazing love for us, a love stronger than the condemning sins of this world, can wash away more than we can ever understand fully. In our minds we say "Our sin is gone" but the phrase "forgive and forget" isn't always true. We forgive but do we really ever erase it from our thoughts? Because the more we try not to think about it, we give it more attention. We never really forget. On judgement day, we can go to Jesus and say, "But what about my sin?" and He will say "What sin?". Jesus really does forgive and forget. That's why he suffered an awful painful death for us. We are his best friends and he laid down his life just for you. Now we can have a close relationship that is indestructible. All relationships have their ups and downs. Some days you feel closer, and some days you feel farther apart. But the relationship can survive if one person won't give up on the other. Jesus will never give up on us no matter how many times we mess up. A great, wonderful, and everlasting love just for you.
